The Phewa Lake
Phewa is the second largest lake in Nepal and with its size comes along its fabulous beauty and aesthetic calmness. The eastern side of the lake is full with various attractions such as sailing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing and lots of restaurants/pubs in lake banks where you can sit and enjoy the view. Another interesting thing about this lake is the Varahi Temple which stands firm in the middle of the lake. This place is Goddess Varahi’s shrine where Hindu worshippers specially come every Saturday to give their offering in hope of getting their wishes fulfilled.
David’s Fall
David’s fall is a calm and prepossessing waterfall located few kilometers away from the Pokhara Airport and nearby David’s fall is Gupteswar Gupha also known as (Gupteshwor Mahadev) (Gupha: Cave) known for its special and sacred values after a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva was discovered by Hindus.
Bindabasini Temple
This temple is the oldest temple in the entire Pokhara. Bindabasini Temple stands strong since the 16th century also known for its dedicated shrine to Goddess Durga, it’s a sacred place for many Hindu worshippers. Another attention gaining places are Mahendra Gupha and Chamere Guda situated 2hrs north of Pokhara. Mahendra Gupha is also known as the House of bats and Chamere Gufa also is a bat cave known for the abundant number of bats it holds.
Seti Gandaki
This fine stream running through the rocky walls between the hills and vanishing in a distance. This river is barely two meters wide and cuts a deep, narrow valley. It is hard to navigate the whole river flow but we can watch the river as it flows through the area from Mahendra Pul.
World Peace Pagoda
This is a huge Buddhist Stupa on the top a hill south of the Phewa Lake. Not only that as it is situated in quite a high place it is also a great view spot that offers spectacular scenery of the Annapurna Range and the city of Pokhara.
The Old Bazaar
Located approximately 4km away from Lake Phewa. This place is a traditional market where people from different places come to trade their products. The area also holds one the most sacred shrine Brindhyabasini Mandir. All together this place is a most suitable place to end our day tour.
