One Day Tour – Hiking in Kathmandu

This one day hiking tour is for all the nature lovers and decent walkers. The hiking is route set for the outskirts of the valley. This lovely tours lets you see how close to nature people are even in the cities as we will be wandering beautiful green forest, small stream, meadows, farmlands and the diverse culture and tradition of the many ethnic groups indigenous to the place.Patan Durbar Square at Kathmandu, Nepal

  1. Nagarkot to Changunarayan Temple
    Nagarkot (2100m) is located 32 km east of Kathmandu Valley. It’s known as one of the best view spot to witness the morning sun scorch the incredible Mt. Everest and its neighboring mountains. We have a good breakfast at Nagarkot enjoying the environment and then we start descend to for Changu Narayan Temple (Listed as UNESCO World Heritage) and on our way we will pass via beautiful local villages and settlements. Overall this hike provides you the opportunity to see almost every aspect of nature.

  1. Shivapuri Hike
    We have our early morning appetizing breakfast and head for Shivapuri situated about 9km north from Kathmadu. We begin from Naranthan where we will be visiting Lord Vishnu’s shrine where he rests on top of bed of serpents. We now head for Nagi Gumba via Shivapuri Conservation Area. This place is Buddhist Monastery of nuns and upon our arrival here we will be blessed by the beautiful views of the mountain surrounding the city. Lastly, we head downhill towards east for Kopan where we will be seeing a 1975 classic Tibetan-Styled monastery and head back to end our one day tour.

 

Departure time: Daily at 6:30am
