“Christmas In Nepal – Elephant Festival”, Every year Regional Hotel Association Chitwan (RHAN) hosts the four days event “The Elephant Festival” in Sauraha, Chitwan at the end of December during Christmas time. The major entertainment of this occasion are i.e. Elephant Picnic, Elephant Race, Elephant Calf Football, Elephant Beauty challenge, Horse Cart Race, Canoe Race and other attraction include concerts from renowned singers, stage shows, dramas and food stall for all the foodies to taste different cuisines. Likewise, the hoteliers have given special discounts to tourists by waving charges by 15% on the time of Christmas.
