Nepal Trekking after Earthquake

Nepal is still safe for travel after devastating earthquake of 25th April 2015. The tragic misfortune occurred in Nepal during peak trekking season and it has adversely effected some of the touristic sites. Things are slowly going back to normal. Places in and around Central Development Region were effected badly but other touristic sites have been unharmed. Nepal is heaven for touristic activities and tourism is one of the major industry. There are still lots of safe trekking routes after earthquake in Nepal.

We would suggest you to go trekking in Annapurna circuit,Annapurna base camp,Ghorepani circuit,Upper Mustang,Makalu,Kanchanjgunga,Everest base camp and many other trekking route in western Nepal except Langtang Region, Manaslu Region, Gorkha Region and Rolwaling himal.Langtang,Manaslu,Rolwaling: The landslide after earthquake has blocked the path at several points and government is working its best to resume the route as fast as they can. Also, many of the houses in these regions including the infra- structure have been either completely or partially destroyed. Langtang and Manasllu had misfortune of being hit by avalanche in which many people were recorded to be deceased.
Annapurna Region is safe for trekking post-earthquake. It would not be wise to go  longer trekking  itinerary as there will be difficulty in arranging for accommodation and food. So, if we were to recommend you, we would be suggesting you to go for Ghorepani Poonhill trek. It is an easy and short trekking in Annapurna. The itinerary is customizable. You can easily choose Poonhill short trek package that lasts for mere 5-days or you can go for 8-days Poonhill sunrise trek. Poonhill is the second best viewpoint for sunrise view lagging behind by viewpoint at Kalapattar.
