Taruka,a village situated in Nuwakot district 50km far from Kathamndu,where we can find a culture of Bull Fight continued by local peoples for many years. The festival takes place on the day of Maghe Sakranti beginning day of holy month Magh(mid of January).The bull owner feed their pet for whole year to make them able to fight by giving foods which gives them stamina and energy, and that day(Maghe Sakranti) they send their bulls for fight. The fight of bulls is not only the fight among the bulls it value as the prestige of the owners, if their bulls won the match then it will be great achievement for winning side.
