“CHAMPADEVI DAY HIKE”
A day hike to Champadvi 2214 Meters is one of the best experience adventure Hike you can achieve in your life time memory. The Hike is just 7 kilometer south of Kathmandu. You can drive by private Car,Van or Local bus to the start of the hike. If you wish to go by local bus than the buses leave from Kathmandu Central Bus Station (Old Bus Park), Bus leave every 15 minutes to Kirtipur Machhe gaon which is base of the Champadevi. We,Cold Feet Adventure did this hike recently and the views from Champadevi was magnificent. The total hours for this hike is at list 5 hours, Two hours up, and then the rest is flat and downhill to the birds of paradise Taudaha Lake for your return journey by local bus or car to Kathmandu approx 30 minutes drive. Or you can stay in Kirtipur Hill side for the night light views of Kathmandu. We would suggest you to take pack lunch and at list 2 to 3 letters of drinking water. You normally have your pack lunch at the top of champadevi with, over views of entire Kathmandu valley view and then beyond the valley you can see incredible white cape Northern Himalayan ranges including Ganesh Himal,Langtang,Langtang Lirung,Sisapangma,Langshisa,Dorje Lakpa, and the Gauri Shankar in the eastern side. Don’t miss the opportunity to do this hike while you are in Kathmandu.
