Catch the playful antics of the monkeys and beautiful city views at Swayambunath temple. Get lost in Kathmandu's old city bazaars, public squares, and former royal palaces at Durbar Square.

After having breakfast in Kathmandu, we have a nice scenic drive for about three hours enjoying the mountain views. Heading northwest on the road to Tibet, we reach the Balepani Valley. We drive further on a dirt road to Jalbire for about one hour. Jalbire is a lovely Newar village set on the banks on the Balepani River. We setup our first night camp at Jalbire.

From Jalbire, we start an easy walk along a road to Chanaute. It takes about four hours to reach Chanuate. En route, we will pass through some small Tamang villages and stunning waterfall. Explore a small village of Chanaute which is home to Brahmins and Chettri people. We can get to explore the magnificent mountains from campsite.

It is about six hours walk from Chanaute to Khanigaon. You will ascend steeply on small walking trails most of the day, stopping for welcome and enjoying the magnificent views. Passing through villages, streams, stunningly terraced farmlands, and a local school, we reach Khanigaon, a beautiful Newari village. The village was founded after the battle between Gorkha and Bhaktapur in mid-18th BS. From the campsite, you can witness the good mountain views.

Ascend slowly today through beautiful forests of rhododendron and the occasional grazing pasture on the way, where you can also see nomad houses for cattle. If you are lucky enough, chances of witnessing bears and leopards are there!

Today, we continue to climb through pine and rhododendron forest for about four hours. Once we reach Pati, we can see some of the houses made by pilgrims. Stunning mountain views are plus point.

We have to climb uphill for around a couple of hours and then starts level walking for next couple of hours to Bhairav Kunda. Bhairav Kunda is a big holy lake with a small temple of lord Shiva. Literally, "Bhairav" is the destructive image of Lord Shiva and Kunda means "Lake".

Early in the morning, you have an early morning walk uphill for about one and half hours to the top to see the sunrise and mountains.  The major views include Jugal Himal Range, Langtang, Rolwaling Range, and Tibetan Range. We then trek steeply down for about six hours through forest Sherpagaun.

Today is going to be the last day of trekking. We have a steep downhill walk for about three hours and half to reach Larche, the bank of Bhotekoshi River.

After having morning breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. It takes around six hours to reach Kathmandu. In the evening, enjoy the farewell dinner with the entire team. Stay overnight at hotel.

A Cold Feet representative will accompany you to the airport to catch your returning flight. We hope to see you again soon!
