Discussing the way of life and individuals living here, Tibet is home to ethnic groups like Monpa, Sherpa, and Lhoba who pursue Tibetan Buddhism. Animism and Bon Po religion (in rare cases) are other prominent religions in Tibet. Tibet is mostly known for its wonderful trekking adventure and beautiful Buddhist monasteries. As such, the Mt. Everest (8848m) and its base camp, Mt. Kailash (6638m), and Yamdrok Tsho are some of the natural hallmarks of the region. Similarly, Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and Norbulingka are a few of cultural monuments in the vast span of Tibet.
