Itineraries

Once you arrive at Paro Airport, produce your visa approval letter provided by our company and get your passport stamped with actual visa. Make sure that you've now claimed your baggage and walk through the customs and meet our guide waiting with your name card outside the airport. Then, transfer to the hotel in Paro. 

In the remaining time, visit the national museum at Paro and check out the collection of books, textiles, paintings, crafts, stuffed animals, and so on. Stay overnight at a hotel in Paro.

After having morning breakfast, dedicate your time to explore the highlights of Paro. Don't forget to visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, Drugyel Dzong, Kichu Temple, and also visit a typical farmhouse. After having lunch, visit the legendary Taktstang Monatery, popularly known as Tiger's Nest Monastery, one of the most unique Buddhist monasteries in the world. It's been said that Guru Padmasambhava, the legendary Indian Saint, flew from Tibet on the back of Tiger to fight and defeat the demons opposing Buddhism in Bhutan. After exploring the Tiger's Nest Monastery, return back to your hotel at Paro and stay overnight at a hotel.

Take a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Thimphu and visit some of the beautiful sites out there. Visit to the colorful weekend market which offers people to sell or buy the fresh and cheapest vegetables and other food stuffs. You can also see the traditional game of archery played in the nearby grounds. Tashicho Dzong, Zilukha, and Zangdopelri Temple are the other highlights worth visiting. Stay overnight at a hotel in Thimphu.

After taking your morning breakfast, continue drive towards Wangdiphodrang and Punakha. Theh road climbs up to Dochula Pass as you leave Thimphu. Stop to get the spectacular panoramic views of the snow-clad mountain range of Bhutan. The road again drops after crossing the pass. Once you reach Punakha, check-in to the hotel and visit the Punakha Dzong which was the former winter capital of Bhutan. Hike up to Chimi Lkhakhang Temple and return back to Punakha for overnight.

Set off on the road to Jakar. Passing through the town of Wangdiphodrang, start climbing from Chuzomsa constantly for about two hours and cross the Black mountains. From Pele La Pass, you can clearly witness Mount Jumolhari and other mountains across the valley. You are now in a Mangde region after crossing the pass. Have lunch at Trongsa and visit Trongsa Dzong which is regarded as one of the largest and most impressive of all Dzongs in Bhutan. Drive for another couple of hours from Trongsa crossing Youtongla pass. Then descend into Chume and eventually stop at Bumthang. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Start the sightseeing tour with drive to Jambay Ihakang. There are some places worth giving a peek. You can visit Chakar Temple and Kurjey Monastery Complex. Crossing the bridge over Chamkhar Chu River, we eventually reach at Tamshing Lhakang. Have lunch and visit the new monastery of Namhai Nyingpo. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Take an excursion to Ura Valley today. Ura Valley is the highest of all Bumthang valleys. Explore the characteristic villages with closely clustered houses. Take time to interact with local people and go for shopping as well. You can't stay without appreciating the culture of Bhutanese people here. Attend the Tshechu Festival and stay in one of the houses in Ura.

After exploring the festival all the day, drive the same way back to Bumthang. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Once again, retrace your drive back across Yotongla Pass and descend into Trongsa. After 3 hours of drive, we reach the historical Trongsa Dzong. Also take your time to visit Ta Dzong, a watch tower. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Leaving Trongsa to the east, we return to the west again and stop to visit Chendebji Chorten on the way. We then continue across the spectacular Pelela Pass and descend into the valleys of Punakha and Wangdi. Driving through the blossoming hills and beautiful pine forests, you eventually arrive at Dochula Pass and finally at Paro via Thimphu. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Today, after having your morning breakfast, our representative will transfer you to the Paro Airport in time. Now, you can continue your flight to the next destination.
