The Langtang Yoga Trek aims to combine Yoga and nature into one complete package promoting the natural beauty and inner peace. One of the closest trekking trails from Kathmandu, the valley of Langtang offers unparalleled natural beauty alongside the mesmerizing Himalayas. At the foothills of the majestic Langtang Himalayan Range, the trek offers stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966m), Gaurishankar (7,134m), and several accommodating ranges. The Langtang Yoga trek takes us on a spiritual run not only enabling us to enjoy the adventure to our fullest but to also find inner peace and comfort.
For each day on the Langtang Yoga Trek, we will participate in morning and evening yoga carried out by experts. We begin the journey with our arrival in Kathmandu and participate in a yoga session on the very first night in Kathmandu. Setting off to the trail-head located at Sybrubensi, the journey officially kicks off as we make our way towards the Lama Hotel for our first night on the trail. Alongside the lush green forests adorned with pine and rhododendron trees, the journey proceeds along the Langtang River. Passing Ghodatabela and pasturelands on the way, we head to Langtang Village. Passing a horde of monasteries and Chortens, the trek settles at Kyanjin Gompa. One of the oldest monasteries in the Langtang Valley, Kyanjin Gompa offers a fresh take to the traditional yoga practices in addition to the spiritual environment and stunning Himalayan views. Trekking atop the summit of Kyanjin Ri (4773m), we enjoy the stunning Himalayan panorama of the entire Langtang range. Thereafter, we head back to Kyanjin which marks the beginning of our descent. Retracing the path along the Langtang River, the journey heads back to Lama Hotel and then onto Sybrubensi before returning to Kathmandu.
A yoga trek is a concept that has been freshly introduced in the travel scene and requires well-trained yoga gurus. At Cold Feet Adventure, we also have well-trained guides and itineraries to ensure that everyone is accommodated. We are here to ensure all that and make sure your adventure is a memorable one.
Touching down at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our office representative will welcome you and guide you directly to the hotel. After freshening up, you can explore the local areas around the hotel. In the evening, you will participate in a Yoga session where you will be also introduced to your gurus for the trip.
An early day and we make our way out of Kathmandu heading away from the massive hills surrounding the city. Through the pleasant hilly roads, the journey continues alongside the tranquil Trishuli River. Past Dhunche, the journey brings us to Sybrubensi located on the banks of the tranquil Trishuli. The day ends with an hour of evening yoga as we enjoy the pleasant natural landscape around Sybrubensi.
Beginning our day with Yoga, we prepare for our first day on the trail. Entering the Langtang National park, the journey heads towards the rhododendron and fir forests on the banks of the Langtang Khola. The final stretch of the day takes us through the settlement of Rimche and onto Lama Hotel where we end the day with Yoga.
Once again kicking off the day with morning Yoga, we make our way out of Lama Hotel. Exiting Lama Hotel, the journey continues alongside the lush forests and Langtang Himalayas. Continuing the Langtang Khola further north, the journey heads past the hamlet of Thangshyap and onto Langtang. As usual, the evening ends with Yoga just before dinner.

The journey is a short one and offers stunning Himalayan views including Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Gaurishankar (7,134m), Langtang II (6596m), and many other mountains. We once again accompany the Langtang Khola all the way to Kyanjin where we once again end the day with Yoga.
One for the exploration after our usual Yoga routine, we can enjoy the culture and way of life of the people. We can also explore the Gompa, enjoy the spiritual environment, and stunning Himalayan views. Today, we head over to the hill summit of Kyanjin Ri located at an altitude of 4,773m. The journey takes us on an ascending run through the rugged Himalayan wilderness to reach the summit which boasts an incomparable Himalayan panorama comprising off Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Langtang II (6596m), Naya Khang (5,844m), Yala Peak (5,500m) and Dorje Lakpa (6,966m). Descending back, we once again carry out our usual Yoga routine ending the day at Kyanjin Gompa.
The beginning of the descend and we once again start with yoga before making our way out of Kyanjin and descending through the forested lands heading towards Lama Hotel. Past the hamlet of Langtang, we once again arrive at the destroyed settlement heading past the hamlets of Thangshyap and Bamboo to reach Lama Hotel. Freshening up from the day's journey, we once again carry out the usual Yoga session.
Carrying out our morning Yoga session, we begin our final day of the trek making our way towards Sybrubensi. Exiting Lama Hotel, the trail once again finds the rushing Langtang Khola as we follow the river downstream. Past the region of Old Syabru, the trail touches our end point of Sybrubensi as we end the trek with a pleasant Yoga session.
The day begins early as we make our way out of Sybrubensi making our way back to the capital city. Following the rushing Trishuli River out of the hamlet, the journey takes us along the Prithvi Highway. Reaching Kathmandu, we make our way directly to the hotel. Here, we indulge in an evening Yoga session for the final day of our stay in Nepal.
For one final time, we go through our morning Yoga routine before breakfast as we gear up for departure day. Our representatives will drop you back to Tribhuvan International Airport just in time for your flight back home. We hope you had a lovely time with us and we look forward to seeing you again.

Langtang region offers wide choices of trekking options ranging from 3 days to 3 weeks. However, the two major routes are:
Langtang Gosainkunda, Helambu route: It is a moderate level trek route that starts from Kathmandu and ventures towards Sybrubensi. Furthermore, the trek will lead you towards the Kyangin Gompa (a major landmark) and then to Gosainkunda Lake at 4480 meters. Afterward, we will trek down towards Ghopte, Gul Bhanjyang, Chisapani and then back to Sundarijal.
Langtang Ganja La trek route: It is also a moderate level trek route that starts from Sybrubensi. The route goes all the way through a Langtang village, Kyanjin Gompa and up towards the Ganja La pass at 5130 meters. From there, we trek down Tarkeghyang, Sermathang, and Melamchi bazar and finally back to the Kathmandu
Autumn (September-November), is regarded as the best season for the trekking in Nepal. The season allows you to experience the beautiful mountains, green hills. Also, the weather is clear with mild to warm days and cold nights. Similarly, spring (March-May) is another the good season for this trek. During this season, you can see the beautiful wildflowers blooming in the jungle, luscious greenery, and sparkling mountains in an excellent background.
Altitude Sickness, also known as Acute Mountain Sickness, is a major issue amongst the trekkers. The Langtang region is located at an extremely high altitude and the trek may take you up to the height of 5000 meters. Due to this, trekkers are highly susceptible to AMS. AMS is a very common sickness and usual symptoms may include dizziness, muscle ache, nausea, headache, vomiting and many more. Similarly, HAPE (High Altitude Pulmonary Edema) And HACE (High Altitude Cerebral Edema) are the extreme forms of AMS which are life-threatening and must be treated in time.
Trekkers must always be cautious regarding the symptoms of altitude sickness and immediately inform the trek leader if the symptoms do appear.
Most of the places in Langtang have solar-generated power or hydroelectricity. So, if you want to charge your camera, cell phone or battery, you can easily get those services. However, you might have to pay an extra sum of money in some cases. On the other hand, it’s safe to carry backups and portable chargers with you. Nonetheless, there are a few places where you can find a reliable internet connection. So, you must buy a Sim Card if you are to trek in the Langtang region.
Langtang Region is famously known for spectacular views of Himalayans like Langtang Lirung (7227m), Ganesh Himal (7422m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), and other mountains. Similarly, Tamang and Tibetan culture and warm hospitality is also a big attraction to travelers. Additionally, Buddhist monasteries like Kyanjin Gompa and Shin Gompa along with the biodiversity of the Langtang National Park also have made the region famous around the world.
