Kang Yatse Peak (6400m) can be approached from this route as the base camp is on the plains of Nimaling.

After arriving at Delhi airport, we will meet you on the airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Today, fly from Delhi to Leh. And after arriving at Leh airport, we transfer to hotel. Then, relax and acclimatize. In the remaining time, we will visit Leh market in the evening. We will stay overnight at hotel.
Today will be our acclimatization day. We will visit Leh palace, the Shey/Thikse gompas. We will stay overnight at the hotel.
Today, our trail passes through a flat and desolate plain along the river Indus and swings into the mountains along the pretty, willow-lined Zingchan gorge. We will stay overnight at camp.
Today, we trek to Markha. And the trail to Markha is not too strenuous rising about 300m across 22 kilometers, crossing the Markha River a couple of times. Well, Markha is a substantial village complete with a derelict fort on the hillside and a small village monastery. We will stay overnight at the camp.
Today, we will start our trek from Markha to Thachungtse. On the way, we will pass through Kang Yatse (6400m) which is a magnificent snow-clad mountain and commands the views for the next two days. And it’s a popular place to spot herds of blue sheep slide up and down the steep cliffs with incredible agility. We will stay overnight at the camp.
Today, we have to pass through several mani (stones with prayer inscriptions) walls and suddenly come across a small lake. The view is wonderful from here—both of Kang Yatse whose bulk gets reflected in the still waters of the lake and also of the Markha valley which we are now well above. We will stay overnight at camp.
Today, as we climb the last short but steep slope to the top there are good views over the Zanskar range and of the vertical ice walls on the north face of Kang Yatse. The trail eases out to reach the river bed at Shang Sumdo. We will stay overnight at camp.
Today, we get into vehicles to go to Hemis monastery or continue directly to Leh. In the afternoon, we take our free time to stroll the market of Leh. We will stay overnight at the hotel at Leh.
Today, we will transfer to the airport and catch our early morning flight to Delhi. In the spare time, we can visit the famous Hindu Temple Akshardham, Red Ford and Laxminarayan Temple as well as old part of the town like Chandni Chowk. Overnight, we will stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Today, you will fly for your own destination from Delhi.
