The 19-day Louche East Peak Climbing trip begins on your arrival in the glittering city of Kathmandu. After landing in one of the most thrilling airports of the world, Lukla, pass through the monasteries and Mani walls to reach Phakding. The trail then leads through the most serene and exciting adventure of the world through glorious Sherpa culture and Himalayan landscapes. Following the Bhote Koshi River, you will pass through the gorgeous villages of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Pangboche, and Dingboche before finally stepping foot at the Everest Base Camp. After witnessing the views of the Mt. Everest (8848m) from the Kalapatthar viewpoint, you head to the Lobuche Base Camp. From there, you begin your climbing and camp at the Lobuche High Camp. With the successful climb of the Lobuche East Peak, you will be surrounded within the mountains and filled with the adrenaline of adventure. Each day of the trek is a unique and marvelous experience as the Everest region amazes the traveler in every aspect. The trip to the Everest Base Camp and the Lobuche Peak climb remarks the journey with applause from the snowcapped mountains.

Itineraries

With your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a company representative will drive you to the hotel. You are introduced with the climbing team and a brief introduction of the trek is provided. In the evening, you can visit around the streets and enjoy the vibrant environment.

The detail description session of the trek and climb is conducted. You are made familiar with the climbing equipment, gears, and the necessary materials to survive in the mountains. The last-minute shopping and items collection can be done. In the afternoon, you will have a guided tour of the capital city. You will visit the historical, cultural and world heritage sites. Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square are some of the famous destinations in the valley.

After breakfast, we go to TIA with the team and take a flight to the Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. The beautiful air route to the most thrilling airport in Nepal will display the wonderful mountains and hills. Then, we trek through the vintage and pleasant village of Lukla. The trek to Phakding is short and we are surrounded by the Mani walls and prayer flags on our way.

Today, we head to Namche Bazaar which is the gateway to Everest treks and the main trading center of the Khumbu region. The trails are decorated with rhododendrons, pines and junipers forests. After entering the UNESCO heritage site of Sagarmatha National Park, we will get a glimpse of the amazing Mount Thamserku (6608m). The trail is through the stone stairs and forests with an occasional meet with waterfalls and suspension bridges to reach Namche Bazaar.

We reserve this day for acclimatization. Most trekkers and climbers spend their acclimatization day in the settlement of Namche Bazaar. The day can be spent wandering around the village. The place is rich in Sherpa culture and a lot can be studied about the Sherpa way of life and history. We can visit the local museum of the bazaar and gather an insight into the Khumbu region. Namche Bazaar is the most advanced and developed settlement in the Everest region.

After the breakfast, we trek towards Debuche crossing the village of Tengboche, which houses the largest monastery of the region, the Tengboche Monastery. The trail is easy for some hours and then we ascend upwards through the green and luscious forests. The glamorous view of the Mount Everest (8848m), Thamserku (6608m), and Ama Dablam (6856m) can be seen from the village of Debuche.

After the morning view of the mountains, we begin our trek. We walk through the easy trail of rhododendron forests and conifers. We then cross the Imja River and reach Pangboche. The trail is divided after Pangboche letting us chose the two trails to reach Dingboche. The upper route is a bit longer but offers with the extremely gorgeous view of the Himalayas. We reach the picturesque valley of Dingboche after crossing the Lobuche River.

The day is for acclimatization at Dingboche. We can visit the Dingboche monastery after taking breakfast. In addition, we take a short hike to Chhukung and Bibre. The village also offers a fantastic view of Ama Dablam (6856m) and Lhotse (8414m). You may also spend the day resting and wandering around the lifestyle of the Dingboche village.

After breakfast, we head for Lobuche. We reach the village of Duglha and Chupki Lhara with a gentle climb. The prayer flags and Mani walls welcome us into the villages. We trek towards the Khumbu glacier moraine. The ranges of Mahalangur Himal, Khumbutse and Pumo Ri start to welcome us from the horizon. We then continue the admirable trail to reach the valley of Lobuche.

Today, we head for the Everest Base Camp. The trail is steep and can be troublesome. So, a gentle and calm walk is requested. The path passes through rocky hills, moraines, and streams. From Gorakshep, the path is a bit tricky and hence a good follow up of the guide is sought. The Everest Base Camp is situated on a rocky structure floating on the great Khumbu Glacier. We can celebrate the success of reaching the Everest Base Camp and we head back to Gorakshep.

We get up early this morning and walk towards Kalapatthar for the amazing sunrise view over the Everest Himalayan range. It takes about 2-3 hours to reach the summit of Kalapatthar. The top offers a captivating and elegant view of the Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Cho Oyu (8188m), and Ama Dablam (6856m). The feeling of witnessing the Himalayas from Kalapatthar is beyond the power of words to describe. We enjoy the feeling and head back to Gorakshep. We then have our breakfast and descend down to Lobuche for the night stay.

Today, we start with breakfast and trek towards Lobuche base camp. The trail is smooth and flat at the beginning and gets rocky and steeper. We continue the walk towards the Lobuche glacier. The sensational view of Ama Dablam (6856m) and Thamserku (6608m) will give us the required motivation. The path to the High Camp gets even steeper and rocky. We set our camp for the night at High Camp. The preparation and practice of climbing are conducted by the technical crew.

We get up most early today and take our breakfast before beginning the climb. The strong wind of the mountains can be risky and troublesome; hence, we begin the climb pretty early. The path is mainly rocky and steep to around 5700 m. Then, the thick layer of ice and snow will be our companion. We use the ropes and gears as instructed by the climbing crew. On reaching the summit, we will witness the panoramic views of the great mountains. The mountains like the Mt. Everest (8848m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Cholatse (6335m), Nuptse (7861m), and Pumo Ri (7165m) cheer for our successful climb. After spending some time at the summit, we descend to the High Camp.

After the breakfast, we descend from High camp and continue on the main trail of Everest base camp. We continue through the villages of Lobuche and Pheriche enjoying the view of the mountains. With a heart full of joy for the successful climb, we cross the forests of rhododendron and juniper to reach Pangboche. Here, you can also visit the local Pangboche Monastery.

Today, we descend down to Namche Bazaar passing the village of Tengboche. We continue through the beautiful hills with the colors of rhododendron. Following the Dudh Koshi gorge, we reach the majestic valley of Namche Bazaar again. We can have some drinks and a celebration ceremony at the gorgeous settlement of the village. The trek runs along the Imja River to settle at Namche.

After breakfast, we descend through the stairs of Namche Bazaar and a steep road of the forests. Upon exiting the Sagarmatha National Park, the trail leads along the Bhote Koshi River. We then reach the village of Phakding and continue on a moderate and gentle walk. After reaching Lukla, we rest our backpacks and end the last day of trekking.

We fly to Kathmandu today early in the morning. The marvelous adventure in the mountains end today and we bid a warm farewell to the mountains once again from the sky. On our arrival in Kathmandu, we check in to the hotel. You may take some rest or wander around the streets of Kathmandu.

You may relax for the day or visit some famous places of the city including the world heritage sites in Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Changunarayan, and Patan Durbar Square. We offer a farewell dinner as a souvenir to the great expedition in the eastern Himalayas of Nepal. We remember the good and sweet memories and celebrate the journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.

This is the last day of your presence in the mountainous country Nepal. The company representative will take you to the airport in a private jeep before your scheduled flight. The backpacks and luggage are handled with great care. With your departure from the land of Himalayas, we wish you good luck and a prosperous journey ahead.
