Sandwiched by the Annapurna and Manaslu Himalayas, the hidden valley of Nar Phu touches the Tibetan highlands to the north. Nar Phu Valley Trek heads due north from the Manang valley and eases into the Nar Phu Valley. With the ruins of ancient castles still in the display, the valley also boasts some historical background to pair the exquisite natural beauty it commands. Itineraries

Upon arriving at the Tribhuvan International Airport, a company representative will take you to the hotel. After freshening up, you will be introduced to other members on the trip. After a short briefing session, we wrap up the activities for the day and you are free to explore the city on your own.

Today, we set out to enjoy the UNESCO world heritage in the Kathmandu Valley. Beginning with the temple of Swayambhunath, we enjoy the surrounding views of the Kathmandu Valley. Next up, we make our way to the ancient Hindu temple of Pashupatinath. Soaking in the unique atmosphere of the temple, we head towards the Kathmandu Durbar Square. The day ends at the monastery of Boudhanath alongside its pleasant atmosphere.

The beginning of our trek and we drive to the trail-head located at Syange. The journey heads west through the Prithvi Highway. Accompanied by the Trishuli River, we continue our journey reaching the town of Besisahar. From here, we drive north to reach Syange. The final stretch of the journey is a trek through the lush green forests all the way to Jagat.

Exiting Jagat, we descend along the Marsayangdi River beyond which the trail enters the lush green forests. Alongside the river bank, the trail ascends towards Chamje which offers a great view of the Annapurna Range. The next stretch of the trail takes us to Sattale beyond which lies Tal. Approaching Karte, the journey continues alongside stunning waterfalls to reach Dharapani.

Making our way out of Dharapani, we once again enter the lush green forests heading towards Bagarchhap. Enjoying the trail guided by the pine and fir trees, we continue our journey towards Danakyu. Past Danakyu, the trail ascends steeply reaching Timang which boasts stunning views of Mt. Manaslu (8,163m). Descending through the lush green forests we enter the hamlet of Lata Marang and continue to Koto.

Exiting Koto, the journey ascends through the banks of Nar Khola heading towards Dharmasala. We trek enjoying the pleasant Himalayan views including the views of Annapurna II (7,937m) and Lamjung Himal (6,983m). The final stretch of the journey ascends steeply through the forested lands to reach the hamlet of Meta.

Exiting Meta, the journey ascends through suspension bridges crossing different streams and onto Kang. The hamlet hosts the final remains of the outposts and fortress used by the Khampa (Tibetan refugees) during their escape to India. Continuing our journey past the Phu Khola, we land at the hamlet of Phu just in time to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Today, we take some time off from our busy itinerary to enjoy the Phu valley as well as tour the surrounding areas. From a cultural standpoint, the hamlet offers a wide range of diversity with ethnic practices involving the Tibetan community. The day also offers a perfect opportunity to journey to the Tashi Lhakhang Monastery. One of the 108 world's greatest monasteries, it is believed to be the final monastery constructed by Guru Rinpoche. Enjoying the spiritual environment around the monastery alongside the Himalayas, we enjoy a lovely day at the Phu.

Exiting Phu, we begin our descending journey heading past a series of suspension bridges to reach the Mahendra Pul. Connecting the two valleys, the hilly trail once again takes us through high gorges over the Laha River. Continuing on through the less inhabited section of the forests, we begin our ascending run once again heading towards Nar Phedi. The final stretch takes us once again atop the hill to Nar.

Enjoying the pleasant Himalayan views from Nar, we begin our ascending run towards the summit of Kang La Pass. At an altitude of 5,320m, the mountain pass is one of the highest across the Himalayas and is quite strenuous. However, it offers mesmerizing views of the entire Annapurna Himalayan range. Taking some time off at the summit of the Kang La Pass, we begin our descending journey carefully navigating past the snowy trail to reach Ngawal.

Exiting Ngawal, the journey once again finds the tree-line to reach the isolated hamlet of Paugh. Continuing our ascending run, the journey reaches Munchi connecting the journey with the classic Annapurna trail. Past Munchi and the journey descends through the rural hilly landscapes all the way to Manang village. We also pass a series of ancient monasteries before settling down at Manang.

Exiting Manang, we make our way towards Thare Gompa. One of the older monasteries of the region, it is often a famous stop on the way to Tilicho Lake. The trail to Thare Gompa is an exciting adventure through the Himalayan wilderness reflecting the true beauty of the Annapurna Region. Enjoying the rural landscapes, the trail quietly ascends to reach Thare Gompa.

Continuing through the Himalayan trail, we make our way over to Tilicho Base Camp today. Heading past Tibetan grasslands the trail passes through several summer settlements to reach the base camp. The entire trail on this day follows the Khangsar River. Located at an altitude of 4150 meters, the base camp offers a glorious view of the Tilicho Peak (7134m).

One of the shorter days of the trek, today, we trek to the Tilicho Lake. Wrapping up our belongings from the base camp, we begin our ascent heading through rugged Himalayan trails and up to the Tilicho Lake. Located at an altitude of 4,920m, the lake is known for being the highest lake of its size throughout the world. Offering incomparable views of the Annapurna Ranges and the Tilicho Peak (7134m) in its tranquil blue waters we take ample time to explore the surrounding areas.

Making our way out of Tilicho Lake, we begin our descending route heading towards Yak Kharka. Crossing the Eastern Pass (5340m), we descend to the Northern Campsite Kharka. Thereon, the follows level lands before making a steep ascent. The ascending trail heads to the top of the Mesokanto La Pass (5467m). The top of the pass offers a 360-degree panorama of the entire Annapurna and Nilgiri ranges along with the Dhaulagiri Himalayas to the northwest of the summit. From here, we descend to reach Yak Kharka.

We wake up to a mesmerizing vista of Himalayas before beginning the journey. As we make out of Kaisang, a fairly easy trek awaits us on this day. Following the Thini River westward, we arrive at Thini village. As we cross the Budhi Gandaki River to reach its western bank, we arrive at Jomsom. Here, we rest as the marvelous journey comes to an end.

An early day as we fly out of Jomsom heading down towards the picturesque city of Pokhara. The flight takes us away from the arid Mustang landscape reaching the lush green valley. In Pokhara, we head to our hotel before taking ample time to tour around the attractions in the valley. The journey ends with beautiful views of sunset by the banks of the Phewa Lake. You can enjoy the majestic view of the Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m) while in the City of Lakes.

The final day of our journey and we make our way back to the capital city ending our adventure. Making our way out of Pokhara, we once again settle on the winding bends of the Prithvi Highway. Finding the Trishuli River, we enter the Kathmandu valley heading directly to our hotels.
