The trip begins in Kathmandu, the capital of the country. The valley was home to the Malla dynasty who in their period of the rule made beautiful palace squares with their architectural prowess. The durbar squares in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan are prime examples of this. The stupas of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath are even more ancient while Changunarayan is the oldest temple dating back to 500 AD. From Kathmandu, we will be exiting the hills down to the Terai region. After a long drive through the flat farmlands of southern Nepal, we will arrive at Lumbini, where Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha was born. As a tribute to his legacy, Lumbini has a monastic zone with monasteries from different nations and well-preserved archaeological locations. After finding yourself and refreshing your spirit, we head to the serene but colorful town of Pokhara. The city is able to cater to any type of visitor from thrill seekers, adventurers, explorers, or even leisurely stroll and relaxation. The valley sits surrounded by three lakes with the Annapurna Range in the backdrop. After Pokhara, we make the road trip along the countryside back to Kathmandu. From here, we head to Pashupatinath where you can witness the mass of people coming together to realize their beliefs. From here, we head to the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, the Boudhanath stupa.

Their namesake qualities can be seen in both their durbar square; however, the common features in both these squares are Pagoda and Shikara style buildings. Bhaktapur Durbar Square houses monuments like 55-window palace, the Golden Gate, Nyatapola Temple, and Vatsala Temple among others. Similarly, Lalitpur Durbar Square is home to Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, and Taleju Bhawani Temple.
